Equity & Inclusion Cells

Equity & Inclusion Cells – SRM College of Education

SRM College of Education has established well-structured Equity & Inclusion Cells to ensure that every student—especially those belonging to marginalized, minority, or underrepresented groups—has equal access to opportunities, resources, and institutional support. These Cells collectively aim to build a campus culture rooted in diversity, inclusiveness, respect, and empowerment for all.

Policy Framework

The College upholds a strong commitment to fostering an environment that values equity and accessibility. All Equity & Inclusion policies are periodically reviewed to ensure alignment with statutory guidelines, evolving educational practices, and the College’s vision of holistic development. The institutional approach emphasizes transparency, continuous improvement, and the active participation of all stakeholders.

Objectives
  • To promote equal representation and support for all students, irrespective of social, economic, or cultural background.
  • To raise awareness about scholarships, fellowships, and government welfare programs.
  • To prevent discrimination, bias, or exclusion in any form within the campus community.
  • To maintain a welcoming, inclusive, and learner-friendly environment for all.
  • To offer guidance, mentorship, and counseling for students requiring academic or personal support.
  • To regularly monitor and evaluate the impact of welfare and inclusion initiatives.
