Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC)

The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) at S.R.M. College of Education is committed to enhancing the quality of teaching, learning, research, and administration. Acting as the central coordinating body, IQAC ensures transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement across all academic and institutional activities, while promoting practices aligned with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Objectives of IQAC
  • Foster a culture of continuous quality enhancement in academics and administration.
  • Promote student-centric teaching-learning processes, skill development, and experiential learning.
  • Support faculty development, research, and professional growth.
  • Drive digital initiatives for academic and administrative efficiency.
  • Monitor feedback systems, audits, and performance evaluation across departments.
  • Implement initiatives recommended by CRSU, UGC, and other regulatory bodies.

Key Activities
  • Organizing workshops, seminars, FDPs, and awareness sessions for students, faculty, and staff.
  • Collecting and analyzing feedback from students, alumni, faculty, and employers to improve quality.
  • Preparing institutional and departmental reports for documentation and review.
  • Supporting digitization of processes, including e-learning platforms, online submissions, and records management.
  • Promoting initiatives in line with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
  • Coordinating the implementation of university and UGC-guided programmes.
  • Facilitating internal audits, policy compliance checks, and assisting other college committees.
  • Monitoring departmental activities and compiling annual IQAC performance reports.
