About the Course

The Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) program at SRM College of Education is designed to prepare professionally competent and socially responsible elementary school teachers. The course focuses on child-centered pedagogy, inclusive learning, classroom engagement, and holistic child development.

Through experiential learning, internships, and community-based education, students acquire the skills and understanding required to teach children at the primary and upper-primary levels (Classes I–VIII) effectively.

The program strictly follows the NCTE norms and the curriculum prescribed by CRSU, Jind, ensuring academic quality, practical training, and compliance with all teacher education standards.

Eligibility Criteria (As per NCTE & CRSU Guidelines)
  • Candidates must have passed 10+2 (Senior Secondary) or equivalent examination with at least 50% marks (47.5% for SC/ST candidates of Haryana).
  • Admission is based on merit in qualifying examination or as per guidelines issued by CRSU and the State Government.
  • Candidates must present original documents, character certificate, and migration certificate at the time of admission.
